Note: Although the in-and outside of the Zaphir chime is protected, weather conditions may have a visual effect on the chime. A regular treatment with varnish or oil will help to protect your chime.

In comparison to Koshi chimes, visually they look gorgeous whereas Koshi chimes are plain. Sound wise they are very similar, but there are subtle differences in tone. The sound is very ‘polite’ hence why I would love to see these in bigger sizes, particularly when used alongside other percussion.
Definitely not toys just in case anyone thought they would be good for children as they could easily be damaged.
Finding a good place to hang them is the greatest challenge so as they just catch wind through an open window or hang under a covered porch so they activate naturally. Not something I would want to leave out in very damp conditions.
